Focalistic, Cassper Nyovest, Nadia Nakai and several other prominent African performers will headline the fourth edition of Simply Piano at Royal Aria in Tlokweng on Friday, 25 September 2026.
This year’s event will be held under the name Sunbet Simply Piano, with Sunbet coming on board as the headline partner.
The line-up also includes 031Choppa, Amaroto, Moozlie, Danya-Devs, Sami Kay, Cowboii and other performers.
They will be supported by amongst others Cassper the DJ, DJ Bunny, DJ Lentle, Leb G, Buru, Vera, Fizzy BW, Pekay, Benny and DJ Chrispin.
NayaBSZN and MC Theo will host the event.
Organisers say the event has grown beyond its original Amapiano focus, with this year’s programme bringing together different sounds and performers.
“Simply Piano has grown from being a Piano-focused event into a much broader entertainment experience,” the organisers said.
They said the aim was to make each edition bigger and more diverse while retaining the identity that built the event’s following.
Amapiano will remain central to the event, but the line-up will also include hip-hop, house, dance and other popular genres.
The organisers said the broader line-up was designed to appeal to a varied audience and ensure that the event offered more than one musical experience.
“Although Amapiano is central to the Simply Piano identity, we don’t want to create an event where every artist sounds the same,” they said.
The extensive DJ and MC line-up is expected to keep the programme moving between performances and maintain the energy throughout the night.
Organisers also say the event will offer audiences an opportunity to discover artists and DJs they may not have attended specifically to see.
“People are coming to dance, listen to great music, see some of their favourite artists and spend time with friends, but there is something bigger happening,” they said.
Production is also expected to receive a major boost, with organisers promising a state-of-the-art stage setup at Royal Aria.
They said the production would be designed to match the scale of the line-up and create an immersive experience for those attending.
Security has also been identified as a priority, with measures being put in place to ensure the event is safe and well managed for patrons, artists and staff.
Members of the public have been encouraged to secure their tickets early.
The organisers said the partnership with Sunbet, the expanded line-up and the planned production upgrade would make this year’s edition the biggest Simply Piano event yet.
“We are not just bringing back Simply Piano, we are bringing it back as Sunbet Simply Piano, with a bigger line-up, a broader musical offering and an experience we believe will give people plenty to talk about afterwards,” they said.
